We should just end the BS from both sides and address directly:

Constitutional action on powers, numbers, and resources. Perhaps also modify the Constitution so that the 5th Amendment applies to “citizens” and not “persons”… There are obviously more matters. Take it from Congress and but it in an Amendment.

More than several. Tanking that bill happened at the end of the campaign but he used that as best he could to good success. The GOP gave Dems an amazing defense to the accusations of being weak on immigration by sinking that bill. That's exactly it. Blocking the border deal has shown exactly how disingenuous the Republicans are. It shows they don't really care about the border and have just been using it as a political stunt. It shows they aren't actually committed to solving the issues.

It’s just like what Dorgan did to Kennedy in 2007 blowing up a previous version. (Senator Kennedy was mad!). The subsequent immigration law the Democrats wrote with huge majorities in the House, Senate and White House makes clear how legit their approach to the issue was.

Oh wait. They didn’t do anything on the issue. But President Obama did cage kids and deport more people than even President Trump!
