The Bulls sophomore automatically made it? I would be out too. How did they "accidentally" send this out?
Not sure the “bullis” sophomore is going to make any difference on that team. Surprised she would make varsity at sssa with all the players they already have.

Seems like there would be plenty of opportunities for a 2028 at SSSAS after this year. No?
They’ll probably skip the 27s and 28s and do what they did with the current senior class which is pick all freshman and develop them for four years.

Your forgetting all the 27s that have been buried on JV as well

It’s a big deal in some of the other areas.
Lost interest in supporting capital? Isn’t she the owner?
Lost interest in American Select. The previous poster was spot on with the bad coaching.
I think Gussie realized there's a lot more money in opening Healthy Ballers (New one in Reston) and training athletes than running a LAX club. The other top clubs do it way better than Capital - more practices, better coaching, higher quality development, etc.
I don't think the evidence supports this. The only other top clubs in this area are north of the DMV (Baltimore area) and a separate thread showed those player numbers are down sharply among top D1 programs.
Hero’s and M&D beat Capital like a drum.
They did?? When?
Every time they play. 2022-2031 Age groups.
Except for the last two games they played with the 2028s: tied Hero's at Chesapeake; beat M&D at Mid-Atlantic. Lots of ties and one goal games before that as well. 2025 Capital finished ranked higher and beat both Hero's and M&D in their last summer season. May need to check your information.
Look, Hero's and M&D are better teams/clubs over time and classes. They don't always beat Capital "like a drum", however. And certainly don't over-perform on recruiting compared to Capital, regardless of wins and losses and rankings. Cue the excuses and normal vitriol.

Spring is conveniently too late to leave a school by the time a player finds out at the end of sophomore year it’s not going well. Admissions deadlines have passed.
