Is Kathy Jenkins going to do all the recruiting for the 28s even though there’s not one sssa girl on the blue team. It’ll be interesting to see how that teams recruiting goes.

Lost interest in supporting capital? Isn’t she the owner?
Lost interest in American Select. The previous poster was spot on with the bad coaching.
I think Gussie realized there's a lot more money in opening Healthy Ballers (New one in Reston) and training athletes than running a LAX club. The other top clubs do it way better than Capital - more practices, better coaching, higher quality development, etc.
I don't think the evidence supports this. The only other top clubs in this area are north of the DMV (Baltimore area) and a separate thread showed those player numbers are down sharply among top D1 programs.
Hero’s and M&D beat Capital like a drum.
They did?? When?

My older kid 2026 got both of those rating and we never paid for it. In fact it wasn’t till it was posted and teammates and other parents sent it to us that we realised that she even had a rating on both US club blacks and inside lacrosse. We don’t know how she got them other than being at events. There are many that get the ratings and are not paying for them.Anonymous wrote:Respectfully, I don’t know that “all of those ratings” help. The way I decided whether to pay the US Club Lax rating fee was a simple review of the 2027s ratings, compared to inside lacrosse ratings, and stacked against ultimate recruiting results. I did not see a correlation between the US Club lax rating and recruiting, so I held off.
Not saying it hurts or you can’t include in a resume, just saying that it doesn’t look like it helps.

Anonymous wrote:Definitely not the same thing. US Club Lax rating may be nice for the players to see, but not really relevant for recruiting. Much to the chagrin of some posters, Inside Lacrosse is.

2028 coach talked on the phone for almost 10 minutes during a game last summer. Not even looking at the field. It was bad.
2027 coach was great; still didn’t impact results.
DC/VA is 1 of 2 teams left to post a tryout day. Why the delay?
The only other region beside DC/VA yet to post a tryout day is Canada. Clearly a low priority.

The 28 coach was a NIGHTMARE!!!!!! He was so rude and demeaning to the girls and just yelled at them constantly when he was busy being on his phone or showing up late to the games.
