I can't imagine how a Balto parent of a younger kid would possibly end up making such comparisons, but okay.

The list was right there to see with the club team right by the names. It was easy to do. And stood out as an interesting thing on the list. Other things of interest there too, besides that. I know you have to take it all with a grain of salt.

Can you please provide a link to that list? I would like to see what you are talking about.

Lost interest in supporting capital? Isn’t she the owner?

Lost interest in American Select. The previous poster was spot on with the bad coaching.

I think Gussie has lost interest in supporting it, look at some of the terrible coaches that were hired last year. It’s a big deal in some of the other areas.

Historically, both teams excel in recruiting, so regardless of whether the kids are moved up, they all have excellent opportunities to be seen and recruited.

It’s such a travesty that they don’t move kids up. No kids were moved for the 2027s and there were plenty that would have benefited from being showcased on Blue and seen by hundreds of more coaches.

They will not move people up from orange. 1 person at each position will just mean more playing time for the others.

Has American Select lost its luster around here? That's the impression I get in my little bubble. I would ask the few reliable folks on the 2028 Girls Lacrosse forum but they seem to have skipped town.

Definitely behind BIC and Juniors. If you can’t get into those two, it’s probably third. At that point though you may be better off just going to the individual college camps. That’s a better time and money investment anyways IMO.

There are always some kids on the cusp and there’s some kids that there’s not much difference so they could play either blue or orange. This is true for all teams that have an A and a B team. It also could’ve been the day. The inside lacrosse was doing evaluations that that player had a good day and the other player had a bad day it happens. I wouldn’t read too much into it.

Not sure about the player but it's also not uncommon for a midfielder on Orange to be good enough to be on Blue as attack or defense.

If that’s true, they would’ve made her that offer.
