Big Sis is pretty quiet these past few days. Nothing new just some repeat posts from weeks ago.

He went a Beyoncé concert with friends including his BFF Shannon. There is nothing nefarious about that. But Tyler already told us on Gwen an Abby podcast that he, a 45 year old man, needed Shannon’s permission before he could date Jen. So she is obviously his BAE but not because of a Beyoncé concert.

No, there’s no double meaning. I wish I had looked before commenting. He saw Beyonce. BEY DAY. I don’t like him or Jen but it’s a stretch to say that there’s a double meaning.

Jen is one of those who constantly brags about how soulfully wise they are in all the things but who actually in real life are total fools with an amazing inability to see or acknowledge their own faults and shortcomings. So they are slow rolling train wrecks who never course correct.

We all know women like this.

Big Sis made a huge point about learning about her codependent tendencies in her marriage with her fake business partner slash therapist so she immediately goes into a weird codependent relationship with with a distant, emotionally vacant man in another state.

Pure relationship healthiness here, folks.

My mom never had a Me Camp, but is an absolute textbook narcissist. I’m her youngest daughter. Our relationship is a constant cycle of her adoration, “You’re the best thing that has ever happened to me!”; and her disgust, “I can’t believe how selfish and inconsiderate you are!”. What happens in between? I don’t do something she told me to or expected me to do, OR I don’t participate in whatever drama she has going on in the moment.
But also, I am the most emotionally stable, financially stable, and healthiest of all my siblings.

My oldest sister is my mom’s best friend. They talk daily. My sister has always done whatever my mom tells her to. Friends, sports, clubs, marriages, divorces, etc. My sister has been in therapy for YEARS, and takes several psychotropic drugs.

I think about this a lot when Jen talks about her kids.

We all have our fukboi phase at some point.

Almost every parent gets exhausted by regular teen stuff because regular teen stuff is exhausting. Jen publicly deriding her adopted neurodivergent Black teen daughter to millions is not regular parent stuff though. And yes, Remy being Black makes a difference, especially in Texas. Does Jen not understand the concept of predators? Does she not understand the concept of low self-esteem and socially-challenged young girls being one of the biggest targets for predators? And that young Black women are at increased risk for being victims of sexual violence? She is “dating” a Black activist, brags her own Black activism and yet still serves her child up for the taking.

Speaking of her “boyfriend”, I saw on Reddit that Tyler hasn’t made a single post about his book being Jen’s book club choice for August. It’s actually pretty smart of him to distance himself from her on his platforms. He gets all the benefits of her star power and desperation while being able to wipe her clean from his slate pretty easily when they inevitably break up.

Notice he has never given Jen any praise publicly other than she’s “dope” and she “sees people”. Yet almost every review for his book mentions knowing him through Jen. According to Jen, Tyler hypes the eff out of her in person. I guess she doesn’t have enough dating experience to understand what love bombing without real commitment means.

I am so sorry. My Mom went on ME camp many times from my alcoholic father as well. It involved getting a job, working a 3-11 shift. My military Dad and brother expected dinner every night at 5:30 (meat starch and vegetable) and since my brother played HS football and had practice, and I was the sole female at home, it was my job. I went to class all day, came straight home and tried to cook something - with no recipe books. Sometimes my meals were laughed at. Oh well, I am a great cook now so there is that!
Jen does not seem to acknowledge the privileged life she had growing up in her stable home. Perhaps that is why she gets all bent out of shape from all the Remy small things. It’s usual teenager stuff.

My mom attended her own ME Camp from 1980-1990! Left our family of 5 kids in the care of our alcoholic stepfather. Mom’s ME camp included fabulous solo trips to beaches up and down the East Coast for two weeks! Every summer!

It was very very important for our SAHM to get a much-needed break from the daily grind and stress and chaos that comes with raising such a big family. Also, our stepfather needed a break from her nagging! With her gone, he could go on a bender! Stay drunk the whole time! Stay out all night!

I realize that Jen only has Remy at home but surely needs this camp as much as my mom did. Have fun, Jen! Good for you!

Maybe me camp isn’t providing her as much new content as she had presumed. Not as many OMG, guess what I just did, where I just went, what I just ate, amaaazzzzing conversations I had with these precious strangers who were all supposed to be my new bffs but my cell phone number stalking isn’t going quite like I planned.
