She said that he completely changed and his pupils dilated so much that his eyes looked black. Somebody took the forensic data and made an animation of the shootings. It is well done and creepy as hell. It’s the first time I’ve been able to clearly understand what happened. (No gore or anything like that.)

Their theory about the weird angle is that the shooter was leaning down to switch guns when Paul surprised him by stumbling out of the feed room. Other than that, it’s all straight from the forensic evidence.

Bubba is the dog and it was not a bird. It was a chicken bone. Chicken bones are dangerous for dogs so I guess that is why they were trying to get it out of Bubba's mouth.


It was a literal chicken, actually. They were trying to get it to drop the chicken. Alex said on the stand it died later. He explained in great detail how you grab the dog’s jaw and dig your fingers in a certain way to get them to drop birds.

I was home sick Thursday and Friday. That’s my only excuse for knowing that.
