So you're saying the need to oppose Schultz trumped what would have been the first school in the county named after a Hispanic-American, even though Mendez was a war hero and educator who lived in the neighborhood and Ryan McElveen had recently said there need to be more schools named after women and minorities? It's good to know the School Board is governed based on personalities rather than principles.
