When Trump voters acknowledge they fell for propaganda and lies, I’ll consider what Dems did wrong. Until then, I’ll actively working to save democracy. You know what brings clarity? Action, not thinking.
Saving Democracy and protecting our egos may not be compatible. You’re too busy saving democracy to consider what Democrats did to lose voter support? What? How is that helpful?
The only way to defeat Trumpism is by winning elections or staging insurrictions. And we’re supposed to be against those.

What’s even funnier is you acting as if this one single election was the obituary of the Democratic Party, instead of what it was: the latest cycle of tossing out incumbents that’s been going on since 2016. But keep telling yourself fairy stories if it makes you feel better.
Trump is all the evidence you need that 49.8% of voters care more about performing than performance.

Show you are serious about going after business that exploit illegal labor
It's gonna kill the Chamber of Commerce/Rotary Republicans who own small businesses in the rural, exurban, and vacation communities. They will never ever ever do it.
A group of eight Senators introduced legislation last week to permanently authorize E-Verify and require all employers to use it. The lead sponsor of the legislation is Senator Chuck Grassley; the bill’s co-sponsors include Senators Tuberville (R-Ala.), Lee (R-Utah), Cruz (R-Tex.), Britt (R-Ala.), Lankford (R-Okla.), Capito (R-W.V.), and Ernst (R-Iowa).
E-Verify is an internet-based system that verifies an employee’s name and Social Security number against government records. The E-Verify system, which is currently voluntary and free for all employers, was developed as a pilot program in 1996. The success of E-Verify in weeding out illegal employment has led to the dramatic growth in its use, quickly becoming a bedrock principle of immigration reform that FAIR has pushed for decades.
E-Verify has become the most efficient and effective way for employers to ensure they are not running afoul of the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986, also known as IRCA. That law, for the first time, made it unlawful “to hire, or to recruit or refer for a fee, for employment in the United States an alien knowing the alien is an unauthorized alien.” Further, the statute (Section 274A of the Immigration and Nationality Act) states that “it is unlawful for a person or other entity, after hiring an alien for employment…to continue to employ the alien in the United States knowing the alien is (or has become) an unauthorized alien….”
No democrats. Where are they????

Dems have now lost the working and middle classes. Instead of recognizing the severity of that error, Dems say, “In the midterms, our powerpoint slides should have a couple of bullet points about the working class and the middle class.”
It’s funny.
And how is all the MAGA yammering about the border helping the middle and working classes? Savings have been decimated. Layoffs are increasing. Farmers and manufacturers are losing markets?
So where is the improvement Trump promised?
We know the Democrats can’t (or won’t) deliver for the working and middle classes. Income inequality has increased under every Democratic administration in any of our lifetimes.
The problem is that those voters have had enough and have shifted away from our party. Those voters, rightly or wrongly, overwhelmingly hate open borders and want mass deportations. Republicans at least pay lip service to those desires. While we insist that people “stop talking about the border.” Voters notice the difference.
No-one is going to help the working and middle classes, of course, but they’d rather take a chance on the Republicans than stay the course with us.
You’re not answering the question. Trump is president and the GOP controls all three branches. Voters “took the chance” and where is the improvement?
How are trump’s actions, including his vaunted abductions of student visa holders helping working and middle classes.
