Full list of songs on Taylor Swift's 'The Life of a Showgirl' album
1. The Fate of Ophelia
2. Elizabeth Taylor
3. Opalite
4. Father Figure
5. Oldest Daughter
6. Ruin The Friendship
7. Actually Romantic
8. Wish List
9. Wood
10. Cancelled!
11. Honey
12. The Life of a Showgirl featuring Sabrina Carpenter
Based on these titles, if they are correct that is, here is my prediction: subtly more of her obsession with Matty Healy, eg track 2 evokes “Burton to this Taylor” vibes. Or track 1: after Hamlet rejected Ophelia, she became unstable and eventually drowned. Maybe a song about her friendship with Blake Lively, though track 6 & 10 could be about her “best friend down in the sandlot” too. And trying to convince us and herself that Travis is her End Game with songs like Actually Romantic and Honey, lol.
You Matty obsessives are certifiable! Good Lord. She has moved on and so has he. But ruin friendship could be about several people, including Kellie Teller.

ready for it!!!!!!
Eh. Not holding my breath. I doubt a new album would contain more longing for her tortured poet or stories of star-crossed lovers and anguish bc at this point that would be embarrassing, so it’s likely going to be boring high-school level tunes about jocks and football. Maybe a couple of songs reminiscing about the tour.
Or she could write about something other than love (please not fame - God who cares). She has talent, hope she can use it. Agreed Tortured poets songs were great but she needs either to reconcile with said poet or write about other things. Not interest in listening to songs about a genial footballer.
She writes about her life. He is her life. Get over it. She’s not writing for your desires.
Really?
So this is Taylor Era TradWife.
I think you are right. This release is her trying to reflect on her “show girl Era” as she gets ready for He is her LIFE ala Tradwife Era. Makes sense. She is never very edgy and wants to please, so here you go USA!

I think you meant to say "You've got edge she never did"

Anonymous wrote:The album is gonna be pop – she worked with Max Martin on all the songs not Jack Antonoff this time. I think we’re ready for that after TTPD. It’s a shame that people are doing leaks for clout, but whatever I’m just glad our girl reclaimed the color orange!
