“Homegrown has a nice ring to it”
Could it be? Is there a NWSL homegrown rule. Coming soon?
MLS takes players from MLS-N & ECNL and I am sure if there was a player in USYS that was good enough they would take there too.
NWSL will take players who are good enough from ECNL, GA, wherever.. it would be business suicide to put a professional league into jeapordy only focusing on one league (youth especially). NWSL will look to take the best from USL, ECNL, GA, etc.
This is true but most come from MLSN teams and no matter where they come from they all end up playing on MLSN Academy teams.

Soon they're going to pressure NWSL into a homegrown player rule.
As soon as this happens GA will turn into a female version of MLSN with contracts and acadamies.
You do realize there are already NWSL contracts for teenagers?
Not the same thing. A homegrown contract and first team roster contract are completely different.
And the GA will be doing this? How?
Which league GA or ECNL has a Stratigic Partnership with MLSN?
MLS is a men’s league. Why would NWSL choose GA over ECNL. When they could work with both leagues and get the best kids from both leagues.
Why don't you understand that MLS and US Soccer are working together?
Haven't you noticed that MLS NWSL And GA all have seats at the table while ECNL is forced to work through US Club?
MLS and US Soccer want control of the youth pipelines. They already own the boys pipelines and are setting up to do the same thing with the girls.

Debates/Conversations have multiple sides, welcome to the real world.
First they ignore you
Then they laugh at you
Then they fight you
Then you win
What stage are you in?
Just give it time, hopefully you're still in the product return window for your GA hat & sweatshirt by then.
