So I can just walk across western Ave where I live in Chevy chase and take my mask off. Then cross the street back to my apartment building and put it back on. Ridiculous. I’m done. Mine is off and staying off.
Good job. I love seeing maskless people at the store because it's like they're wearing "I'm a Republican!!!!!!!!!" pins on their shirt so I know who the evil people are.
When I see people wearing a mask I assume they're not vaccinated. Especially in DC proper.
I don't know how you can take the cognitive dissonance, then, because in Montgomery County,
1. most people are vaccinated
2. most people are wearing masks in stores, mandate or no mandate

Not a two Republican. Sorry. From Vermont and I love Bernie. Drive a Prius and I’m gay and pro choice. Sorry to disappoint your stereotype….Just don’t think masks are
Needed anymore. Oh and I work in healthcare.
Anonymous wrote:Why are cases low and dropping in big bad Florida?!?! No rhyme or reason to this. It’s definitely not related to masks.
Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Sorry folks who wanted to keep masks off: looks like too many of you unmasked at pharmacies and grocery stores, and now the mask mandate will probably come back.
Do better next time the mandate is removed.
Troll, or not?
I say troll.

Maybe? But mostly weird. I'm not even downcounty and can honestly say I saw **zero** people without masks in stores the whole time it was lifted. And I was definitely looking, because I was ready to take mine off as soon as a saw a maskless person. No one could honestly believe the lapse in the mandate has anything to do with the recent case counts.

That happened in 2006, and he hasn't held public office since.
