I think quite possibly that she is a pathological liar.

I think every single interaction she has is transactional. IF what she says is true and that’s a big IF, she only does this to feed her narcissism. “LOOK AT ME! EVERYONE LOVES ME!” And that’s it. All those people she supposedly met at me camp last year - where are they? Her performance is exhausting to watch. The way she moves in the world with zero self awareness is quite something.

Jen just had to point out that she got 4 new people’s cell phone numbers. Like she’s really going to maintain a relationship with them.

Wonder f she’ll at least wait till she gets home before she friends them on her social media and starts text spamming them with all notifications and promotions

Wow you weren’t kidding about Sarah. Normally when older people lose a ton of weight, it ages their faces a lot. It’s strange because she looks great but she also almost looks like a teenager in the new photoshoot. I’m guessing the editor went overboard.

Are they giving out Ozempic in Canada for free? Because I don’t believe Sarah Bessey lost all that weight , north of age 40, just by cutting out alcohol.
Her new book has such a beautiful cover I hate that it is wasted on her meandering drivel.

Originally, I liked Jen’s humor and willingness to happily and honestly and openly and bravely carry the Christian Flag is a largely hostile cultural environment. She was a breath of fresh air and funny and relatable.

It appears, though, that this “Jen” was largely a cynical and fake concoction. And other “Jens” were in waiting.

For those of us who have followed Jen for years- I'm talking pre-"7" Bible studies, etc- what was it you liked about her?

I liked her approach of living out your faith in an affluent environment. Serving your needy neighbors here in the US. She would write about taking the kids to downtown Austin to help pass out food and drinks to homeless folks, and about her and her friends rallying to get items to help furnish a struggling single mom's apartment. She seemed to love living out her faith and teaching other women.
I went to one of her talks and she described in fascinating detail the Jewish culture that Jesus was born into. She referenced a book called Walking in the Dust of Rabbi Jesus that I later bought and devoured. It really enriched my faith and knowledge of Him.

I feel awful for her now and hope she finds true love and purpose once again. Tyler is total Mr Wrong (and as a PP pointed out, he is a long distance "bf" barely phoning it in, but reaping insane profits from her (shrinking) fan base)

"of course" Translation: No one was buying it. Because it did not start out free. I am guessing the niche for this is small. Those who disagree with her stance aren't interested, and those who agree with her stance remember how late she was the game and have little patience for someone whose views caused her own child pain.

Pt 2. The funny thing is that even in the most “boring” of places, there can be so much genuine richness to be discovered. If Jen listened more, truly embraced more of the world without her mouth at the center, she could share a lot of interesting things.

What we’re seeing with Jen is the norm and not the exception. Celebs (and politicians who think they’re celebs) rarely bow out “at the right time”. She’s floundering and the more she flounders, the more desperate and shameless she becomes.

I wonder if Jen thought Tyler was her path back to show-business and that’s why she’s promoting him so hard.

Yep me too. Used to listen to the podcast every single week. Not sure what has happened but it’s been sad to watch. Social media has not been a net positive for her

I would be impressed if she did an Aaron Rodgers type Me Camp in a cave somewhere.
