There are probably fan letters getting sent to SLC too. Because Kirk was tied to orange, more less reporting about that stuff.

No because only half of America would admire the Kirk shooter. Whereas Luigi has way more fan potential because the vast majority of Americans hate our health insurance system and of that a subset of those folks have been denied services. I had a protracted battle with an insurance company. I hope Luigi’s acquitted!

Sorry, the vast majority of the left, center and right do not support an individual assassinating someone they don’t like. Don’t like because of what they publicly say or where they work.

Yup.

But we’ll never know for sure. Both Tyler and LM are lawyered up and only talk on command.

Maybe, if he hadn't ran. But now he can't claim mental incompetence. Or, if he hadn't used a silencer, he might have been able to get a lesser sentence. But now his only options are death penalty or mandatory life in prison.

Agree.

Maybe he’d plead out now. Stop wasting time and money.

Does the fact that Blackrock Capital routinely lays-off thousands of workers and destroys lives mean that:

Certainly was inspired by Looigi— lost online in chat rooms, don’t like an industry, so hunts down a proxy who works there, try to shoot them.

But NFL vendatta guy CAN plead clinically insane. Because he has an unstable mental health record.

Doesn’t like football concussions so flies with a gun from Vegas to NYC to go to the NFL corporate office and floor and shoot it up.

Somehow he made it into the building, elevator, wrong floor and shot that up.

Sad.

Death penalty will never happen.

Bondi and her band of shits are not great at details. Same with Patel and his band of clowns. They will be lucky if they get a federal conviction at all.

Going for the death penalty is stupid. It forces the to spend a lot of time on some of the weakest elements of their case and increases the likihood he walks away entirely.

You gotta be main character like him.

Lose your job, wander around aimlessness, concoct a crazy plan, cut everyone off, make a fake identity and go off the grid, marinate in your isolation and ignorance, pretend to know an entire industry, plan to kill someone in it, emerge a killer, block it all out and stare down the cameras until your parents stop funding your legal fees.

Oh my. Pretty much. Dec 1 state trial so maybe that can wrap up a couple months after that. Then fed trial if needed. Then appeal$$$ if Mangione want to fund that.

Both sides wanted that terrorism clause gone. Plus helps Erik in the fall election.

Now we have a nice straightforward premeditated murder case and trial.
Planned, plotted, executed, inscribed bullets, bag with fake money, escape and manhunt.

In spite of what you might think, people don't actually like vigilantism. It's the sort of thing that sounds good only until you play out the implications.

Given that they found the murder weapon on him, there's no plausible path to claiming reasonable doubt. And jury nullification is exceedingly rare, particularly in murder trials. An unsympathetic victim may make a jury more likely to find reasonable doubt, but there has to be some doubt to begin with.

He doesn't even need that. The real killer with the VP9 was never found. A jury of DCUM peers will have reasonable doubt.

Perhaps, but dcum isn't representative of the population or of juries. A hung jury is possible, but then they'll just move to the federal trial before retrying the state case. He'll continue to be remanded until they get a conviction.
