Wont last, when clubs see quality players leaving for other clubs that let players play with their grade and terrible play downers seeking them out they will change their tune.
Leave to where? every quality club in the area has similar policy. You want to play with grade or classmates, form a class team with both boys and girls and play in the P/E class for fun
They'll go to the club that gives them the best exposure to college coaches. This does not happen on teams full of play downers who get ignored by recruiters. Lather rinse repeat and teams will only be made up of one graduating year. Which will force Aug birthdays to play on the team thats their grade in school.
No such club. 1% can play up and being star. Who will play up anyway
Do what you want it doesnt matter. Play downers will be filtered out once they've gone past their usefulness. By the time they hit 11v11 they'll be on a team thats their grade in school.
Is that why Arlington asked for players grade in school at tryouts?

When colleges start recruiting clubs instead of individual players, let us know
The best exposure to college recruiters is to reach out to them and show your interest. That's how it works, unless you're in the exceptional top 1% and they'll come to you.
So now being on a good team at a good club doesnt matter?
You think you can just reach out to college coaches and magically you kid will be on the team.
Its so obvious that you're a littles know it all.

When your kid gets older you'll understand. But hint hint college recruits by graduating year. (not age)
Again, glossing over the part where FC Copa said that they plan to group Aug birthdays by grade based on college coaches feedback.
You just keep trying to run with the statement that college coaches dont care about age because graduating year (grade) is all that matters to them.
How are you so dense? FC Copa literally said that they are going to play Aug birthdays "up" on their correct grade in school team.
The part FC Copa said about college coaches not caring about players age is correct. BUT its only because all they care about is players graduating year or grade in school.
Again because college coaches only care about graduating year or grade in. school FC Copa has chosen (based on cillege coaches feedback) to play Aug birthdays on their grade in school team. So they're not misaligned during college recruiting.
You using FC Copa as an example its obv

They don't/won't. Kids switch teams so much and in areas with many teams and large areas, they don't go to school together.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Won't work because people aren't going to know kids grades. Everyone knows which grade all players are in SY. In BY it didnt matter so nobody paid attention. Parents on top teams wont want unrecruitable play downers on their kids teams taking up their kids minutes.
Biobanders get recruited which makes sense because college coaches said they don't care what team or age group recruits play on.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Meaningless to persuade anyone to play up.
