+1 I'm so tired of hearing from Republican's acting like the Democrats need to give Trump what he wants and get nothing in return. He didn't get it while the Republican's were running both houses of Congress. Why didn't he shut down the government for the wall last year?
+2 Trump could throw this all back on the Democrats simply by offering something the Democratic base wants and his own base doesn't mind. Infrastructure package or middle class tax cut come to mind, among many others. It's really a pretty simple negotiating tactic. Add a sweetener, and you win. How can Trump not know this?

Obama actually made deals with the Republicans despite their best efforts to avoid them and block everything he did. There was a deal on avoiding a shutdown right before Trump scuttled it and said he would take the blame for the shutdown. Per his word, this is his shutdown.

ACA was debated in Congress for over a year. Hearings upon hearings upon hearings. In the end, the Republicans decided to vote unanimously against it. That was a choice, but it doesn't mean that Dems didn't try to work with them or just ram the bill through. No matter what BS FauxNews has fed you about this.
