That's business as usual and will not lead to real significant change.

Added coaching resources and dedicated staff (see youth heavyweights added recently), pipeline solidification (GFR), and time. Larry is a big net add to point things in the right direction, especially with regard to organization, knowledge of the NOVA youth landscape, and recruiting.

They get better like any other club. Upgrade players in certain spots. Every age group at Spirit VA has some solid players and some holes. Find a way to make the switch compelling for players who fill the holes. Even if they aren't the best player out there. In fact, probably because they aren't the best player out there -- if you're the #2 striker/outside back/wing, etc. on some of the clubs everyone is talking about, you might not be playing as much as you would like, but could get more time be a game changer when dropped into Spirit. Not saying that changes it overnight, but it helps.

McLean 00 best in country 02 age group McLean are the strongest! 03 age group BRYC are top team on east coast.

FCV and McLean are the 2 best 01 teams, among the best in the country. Who would win depends on which league’s rules you play by - McLean is dependent on a deep bench and subbing girls in during each half to maintain their level of play; their starters couldn’t hang with FCV for a full 90.

And yes, BRYC did manage to tie McLean so there are not far behind on their better days.

So, I suspect change is coming. If not, nothing changes and the Academy doesnt up their competetiveness. Do you believe Larry and their new FCV staff will accept this? Doubtful.

Is there a significant difference in roster depth & playing time philosophy between these 3 clubs (WSVA, BRYC, FCV) that would change the WSVA side competitiveness? Would WSVA actually change their current "development" vs game results philosophy under Torres and new leadership?

So the great news is that nothing changes?
