It was very sad for the Bullis community because it was their SENIOR NIGHT. Many of the parents got really upset afterwards and I saw a Bullis Dad (standing with his son and family) put up his middle fingers at the Georgetown Prep bus when it went by - won't say which one even though I saw the kid's number. Classy. Plus, their players would celebrate and taunt the Prep team and coaches each time they scored. Very poor sportsmanship did not prepare them well for a loss.
Otherwise, it was a great game for both teams!

I could see my son attending any of the aforementioned high schools, but I could not see him anywhere other than at Mater Dei. He absolutely loves it there.

You must have experience with a small sliver of the population.

They are the biggest problems at GZ and Prep... sure some are good students, but most are just average.

First win for Prep against Bullis since 2014, so it's Prep's Super Bowl. Sad how the program has fallen.

The IAC rules state the champion is the tournament winner. Worst IAC season in years, and Prep beat Landon in OT and Bullis by one

Really good game tonight by both teams. Offensive runs by both teams and plenty of great defensive plays. I’d say difference was goalie play in the end. Sophomore goalie for Bullis has played well in 2 games I’ve seen this year, but tonight he let in a couple softies, including first goal of game. Prep’s size/age advantage also played role. One question-based on how they celebrated, assuming that was first win over Bullis in awhile??

Hope they meet again, will be great to watch these kids battle it out for the IAC title.

If your son plays lacrosse and you are looking for a moderately priced private school, I highly recommend Christchurch school. It is a hidden gem. Yes, it is a boarding school, but the NOVA kids come home almost every weekend. The teachers are outstanding, The community is wonderful, and there is an appreciation and acceptance of the male personality at this co-ed school. Christchurch gives some financial aid so you may find yourself paying less than a DC private. The school is also genuinely diverse. Finally, the college list is strong. What is not to like? Okay the dorms aren't the best, but the campus along the river is stunning. It is so beautiful. It is relaxing to visit - even when visiting your own teenager!

Prep and Bullis were tied 5-5 at halftime. Bullis dominated the 3rd quarter to take a 10-5 lead into the 4th quarter. Prep defense the held Bullis scoreless the rest of the way while Prep scored 6 straight goals to win the game 11-10.

Three very tight games. STA gets their first IAC win of the season. Prep makes a great comeback win.
