Actually it’s wages, wages, wages,” Brown wrote. “And respecting the dignity of work.”

Anyone on this list would be a huge improvement over Trump. Any sane adult would be an improvement over Trump.

What I find most surprising is how relatively low Warren polls, even if she's been campaigning for years at a national level. Lower than Klobuchar, just a bit higher than Harris?

3 white Male insiders.

And somehow that's the best to win over a white Male outsider?

I wouldn't call Bernie or Beto insiders. Bernie isn't even really a Democrat, and Beto is a Texas rep with limited Washington establishment links.

PP who advocated for Sanders / Gabbard and this would be a good option as well. Sherrod Brown and Amy Klobuchar are good people and Brown would carry Ohio, Michigan and Pennsylvania no problem.

But we can't have another Middle-of-nowhere candidate. That's how we always lose.

We need someone from California or NYC. How f#cking cares about the rest of the f%cking country.

I think that a New Yorker can respond to Trump in a more effective way. I think this is why Osario-Cruz is getting so much attention because she responds to Trump like a New Yorker and can more than hold her own.

Which losing candidates have been from "middle of nowhere?" Barack Obama from Illinois? Bill Clinton from Arkansas? Except they WON. Kerry and Dukakis were both from Massachusetts. Is that middle of nowhere?

AOC is beautiful, speaks well, and is amazing on social media. I think that's why she's getting so much attention. At least partly. I think she has some qualities that Americans would be looking for as an alternative to Trump - toughness, for example - but I for one am looking for someone who I feel like I can just count on to be smart and have good judgment. Someone who is not explosive. I don't GAF where they are from. Though a midwesterner or a Floridian has an advantage of hopefully pulling in a swing state.

Ocasio-Cortez isn't even constitutionally eligible to run for POTUS until 2024, no point wasting time on her in this thread.
