High AAA, low-end Elite if you're going by Hoco divisions.
HOCO league competition committee made up of MD club directors will push back against letting VLC in elite. The 2023 team was not let in despite winning Every AAA game by more than five. This summer they faced four teams from HOCO elite lost to the top two teams by two and three goals in competitive games and beat the lower elite teams by wide margins. I think 2026 will be similiar in regards to HOCO league

Anonymous wrote:I am not connected to the VLC 2025 team, but certainly you can tell based on tryouts if a team got better. If new players are upgrades over the incumbents, assuming the new boys accepted offers, then the team got better. You don’t need to wait for the first game to find out.

Any comments on 25 teams overall in the DMV?
PVI moved 12 miles west - lots of VLC 24s and younger players live reasonably close but not sure how many kids are tracking to go to PVI.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Why would you care?
Was curious because with PVI moving out to Loudoun, their geographic pull is going to be mostly Loudoun, correct? Since VLC is sort of a feeder/pipeline into PVI I was gauging people's thoughts on how PVI lacrosse will fair down the road.
