Context matters. From another person, at another time, observing that Sergeant La David Johnson “knew what he signed up for” by joining the Army wouldn’t have sparked outrage. But consider what else Representative Frederica Wilson—with the backing of Johnson’s mother—has alleged: that Trump didn’t know Johnson’s name; he repeatedly called him “your guy.” And that Trump’s tone was oddly jovial: “He was almost, like, joking.”

Wilson knows that this subject is not one to joke about. When she was laughing and smiling about becoming a "rock star," you could tell she was doing it in a really serious way.
WTF?
But just so we're clear: Trump and his supporters are totally, totally not racists. This family being black, this member of Congress being black, that has utterly nothing to do with any of this. In fact, anyone who notices that the family is black, and that it is often black people who are abused by Trump and his supporters, is *themselves* the racist. See now?

I offered my explanation. Previous page.
So the excuse is that he didn't remember, but he remember enough to deny it?
I don’t know what you’re looking at but that was not anyone’s reply to this question.

One HUGE thing he has done has rolled back regulation that has strangled business. He is also actively working to enact tax reform.... the market is anticipating that this will happen.
Specifically what regulations have been rolled back and what businesses were those regulations strangling? Be specific. The generalities are just campaign speech and EO Signing ceremony rhetoric.
The Clean Power Act or whatever it was called. Terrible for business. And the mine will be approved in Alaska to get precious metals. I could go on and on.

Mrs Johnson
I am heartsick that my phone call caused you any grief. That was never my intention. Please forgive me for any stress it caused you and your family. Your husband La David is an American hero. He will forever be remember by myself and all Americans. He is the best of Us.
Your country will always be here for you and your family
DJ Trump
People like PP are more upset that Trump is bad at performing consolation than they are about the actual soldiers' deaths.
I'm very upset at the "actual soldiers' deaths." If you were "actually" upset, you might know that they were "marines," not "soldiers."
They might not have died if they still had the support of the Chadian forces who were also fighting terrorists in the same region, until they pulled out on September 29 after Trump inexplicably included Chad in the most recent travel ban.
Unfortunately you are not as smart as you think you are.
Sgt. La David Johnson was in the Army. A Green Beret. That's US Army Special Forces, not Marines.
You should be ashamed of yourself for caring so little for those that have fallen in service of this country. Its worse than Trump forgetting his name.

Shame.
All 4 were Green Beret, Army
Sgt. Johnson was not a Green Beret. He was assigned to a special forces unit and worked alongside Green Berets.

He's made a lot of calls and probably forgot the exact words. Do you remember every word of every phone call you've made?
Here's the weak explanation. Even Kelly didn't deny the congresswoman's account. So Trump was just wrong. Kelly just blabbered on about how the call was supposed to "sacred" whatever the hell thats supposed to mean. Presidential conversations are not sacred. He is not some religious figure. He is our employee.
