If Ellis is to be treated like an adult so should Li and Murk be treated like adults. They were in the wrong, drunk, got in a car with an intoxicated driver, and didn't wear seat belts. You refer to Li and Murk as "kids" and "boys."

Riding drunk in a car is not illegal. Driving drunk is. Huge difference.

The police will be able to identify the kids. There is a School Resource Officer in the school.

Based on the news reports, it appears the Wootton principal isn't cooperating with authorities either. But he's certainly welcome to state that he has been, and continues to completely cooperate with the authorities. The Montgomery County Police Department would no doubt be appreciative if that was true. The school principal might even have his own lawyer by now.

The following is from the most recent WUSA9 link above:
"This is a community that has lawyered up and shut down."

That right there is a scathing fact about the Wootton High School community, as well as any others involved in any possible cover up. It's a damn shame to tarnish the fine reputation of all the uninvolved families in the school community. They should speak out and demand full cooperation with the investigation.

The above news report continues:
"Police are convinced teenagers and parents with information about the party preceding the crash have not yet come forward to investigators."

"If you have information to share with police, please call 240-773-6620. You may remain anonymous."

If it is true that there is video from inside the party, it should be a simple thing to ask the Wootton principal to come down to police HQ and identify the kids he knows on the video. Or will he not cooperate either?

Not true. The moco states attourney will bring charges.

The only thing that is a shame is how stupid people are on this thread. The article even stated it takes 60 days to complete an investigation. Subpoenas of social media take time.
