I have a lady up the street from me with a Trump sign in her yard who has a lawn crew a bunch of illegal aliens in it. It was very odd watching them do leaf clean-up this fall. I’m looking forward to springtime when no one shows up to do her yard work.
Teens in our bethesda neighborhood do it for their community hours. Takes 3 hours a lot, a tarp and a rake. Bfd.
We’d pay them $20 an hour otherwise since we all have colds and can’t DIY this week. Again, BFD.
Not in my vast suburban wasteland. Mow and blow crews as far as the eye can see. A lot of trumpers are going to be buying mowers and rakes soon. They will whine and cry.
Yep, I have literally never seen a teen doing yard work for another person in my neighborhood. PP is full of it.
I have and they’d do more if they were priced out by illegals.
I willingly pay the higher rate to an American kid who is using his dad’s stuff.
I’m the only one on my block who does, the rest of the hypocrite liberals hire illegals to do theirs.
Goes to show, they hate paying a good wage or they hate Americans kids who lien hard work because their kid is fat and lazy and sits inside all day
How do you know they are American?

What will MAGA do if Trump grants exemptions to industry such as agriculture and TX construction?

If we deport 13 million people..., we should be able to buy a couple of years (maybe 3-4) just by virtue of the decreased demand for housing. The only people I really see this hurting are slum landlords in the near term. Perhaps, we can create some jobs for our American young men and women to learn how to build homes over the next few years, build a wall, and then repurpose some of the border patrol agents to construction work.
There's always a way...
Where are all these American young men and women dying to break into construction/manual labor? Also with respect to the comment about 'repurposing' border patrol agents as constructions workers, just...wow. I feel like a greater and greater percentage of posts on this forum read like satire. It's hard to tell what's a real comment and what's said in jest.
MAGA seems to have lost its way. Suspect just too many conflicting positions at this point to justify and defend.

It's crazy how the business sector has gotten middle class people to parrot their talking points about immigrants doing jobs Americans won't. They have been cheating people out of wages and then having Americans argue for their own replacements in the workforce. Diabolical.
But this was the whole point of NAFTA and TPP. U.S. manufacturing was dying and the Hail Mary was to ensure trading partners had to comply with labor and environmental protections to even out the wage playing field. Obviously it didn’t work out and maybe it was foolish to try. At the end of the day though, it’s too expensive to manufacture in the U.S. and the global market just isn’t there.
