I am really loving the GOP’s desperate flailing around on this issue. They’re playing all the hits to avoid talking about how unpopular and out of sync the GOP’s policies are: ban abortion and birth control, force every school to teach the Bible, ban books, ban teaching critical thinking, make fun of minorities, raise taxes on the middle class and poor, get rid of social security, establish a dictatorship and end voting.

The GOP’s policies are historically unpopular and to try and sell the American public, they picked the weirdest and most off putting pair in modern history.

I disagree completely. Walz is so similar to Shapiro on Israel, but he doesn't expose us to more ugly antisemitism. I'm sure I'm not the only one who is relieved about that. Shapiro can have his time when things are less charged politically. Ultimately this pick is not any better for antisemitic people than Shapiro.

Wow, My parents are five years older than Walz is, but he looks much older than either of them. I think he does look older than the average 60 year old- it would probably help if they would emphasize his actual age so people don’t think he is older than he is.
