It’s quite entertaining reading the liberal socialist posts on this thread badmouthing those big bad billionaire entrepreneurs who have collectively created millions of tax paying jobs that feed the government coffers and out food in so many tables. Can’t help but think of the famous Margaret Thatcher quote:
"The trouble with Socialism is that eventually you run out of other people's money.”

I said it about seven pages ago, but it’s worth repeating. Calling him a slow witted old man with dementia really does set the bar so low that when he then gives arguably one of the best SOTUs ever, it makes him look even better and exposes the GOP ruse for what it is.

Don’t worry. They’ve moved on to saying that he “had too much energy” last night.

Big business: Bringing American manufacturing back, hold corporations accountable for profiteering, address Shrinkflation, break up monopolies vs. Gut regulations around safety, child labor, pollution

Climate: Most significant climate legislation in U.S. history to accelerate the transition to a clean energy economy vs. Defund Climate transition

Safety Net: Protect Social Security, Medicare vs. Proposed to gut Social Security and Medicare

Guns: Strengthen gun safety laws, safe storage initiative, established Office of Gun Violence Prevention vs. Offer thoughts and prayers, roll back gun laws

Immigration: Proposed comprehensive border legislation which GOP refused to vote on. Seeking an immigration system that’s orderly and functional vs. Propose use the National Guard to round up immigrants and to set up detention centers for suspected immigrants

Taxes: Make big corporations and billionaires pay the taxes they owe. vs. Propose more tax breaks for billionaires, blocked closing tax loopholes for corporations

He also pointed out the GOP’s hypocrisy in voting against all sorts of beneficial and necessary spending and then taking credit for it in front of their constituents.
