I work in Chinatown and cannot believe the decline. It’s a shame because it used to be great around here.
When I first moved to DC, hipster teens would hang out in Chinatown - remember that?
I do.
I also used to work in Chinatown, it got overrun with people openly dealing, shooting up on the sidewalk, agressively panhandling or engaging in acts of violence, etc. Shame, And almost all Chinese businesses are gone.
