They're on the run in Detroit proper, east side of Detroit? I suspected all week they're drug addicts. Opioid crisis has slaughter over 3,000 in Michigan this year alone.

The school district dropped the ball.

One of my siblings’ kids was doing a project in class where they were working in groups and were creating a fictional disease/illness, creating its symptoms and treatment, etc. The kid googled on a school Chromebook “how many hours can you go without sleep before you die?” Obviously this was flagged and the kid was called down to the office within just over an hour and questioned extensively to see if they weren’t OK.

Don’t tell me this willful helplessness on the part of the school is just how it is. BS. They were CYA-ing because they didn’t want to hassle with, or be sued by, the parents and their inaction cost four kids their lives and hundreds of other kids were traumatized.

No, this does not absolve the parents and I hope fervently they rot, but there’s pleeeeenty of blame and liability to go around.
