FVU needs to come up with FVU RL to help with finances. Seems like they can’t afford showcases. Add that to the to poor boys program and you get a recipe for disaster. Just a matter of time before that ECNL program gets pulled off.
FVU is a disaster. The girls who went there this past year realize it, and the girls who are going there for next year will soon realize it. The boys have always been a disaster. Brave 2.0
100% agree. In VA there are 3 legitimate ECNL teams Arlington, VDA and RU. That Fairfax club only carries the badge and with MV, there 0 exposure. Just wait and see next year.
The 2012 & 2013 teams seem real good

FVU is so cooked, their leadership is atrocious. They're just hanging on because they still have an ECNL badge (for now), but the same terrible foundation that was Brave.
No, they'll be fine. Once Arlington goes MLSN/GA next year, then there are only 2 ECNL clubs left in the area. VDA can't absorb everyone. FVU will be just fine. People have been predicting their demise for a long time. Much like a cockroach in a nuclear blast they will survive.

It would be idiotic for ECNL to not have a a prescence in Fairfax. Brave 2.0 or Union or FVU is here to stay and remain competitive by sheer location and financial investment by motivated parents. NM needs to give it a rest and focuse on his rosters at GFR and BSC which is no joy ride, trust.
At what point though does ECNL hold FVU management accountable and change the leadership. Why does ECNL allow the level of incompetence to persist. If they want things to change, you kinda gotta make some changes. It won’t change itself.
When they feel there is a viable alternative in Fairfax. They aren’t going to just give up that market.
The only step I could see ECNL taking is to drop the boys program from ECNL.

If true, it’s a good place for them to try to rebuild the program or stay in that league for a while.

What does this mean? There is no encl/ga program?
Aspire is the 2nd tier to the GA program on the girls side. It’s less competitive. Less showcases, no talent ID selections and likely no USYNT selections.
