People in the know know the application has been sent. Only way it doesn't happen is if they get denied HG. Like it or not boys youth soccer pulls more numbers and Arlington understands what the landscape is looking like. If clubs like the Mich hawks or even bethesda for that matter would stop gatekeeping other clubs near them from getting in it wouldn't have been an issue but something else was always going to pop up.
People keep making the revenue argument, which I get. But there is a fixed constraint with field space, quality coaches, and player dilution. Can Arlington actually field more teams? SYC has like a million boys teams so perhaps it is possible, but their geography is also wider. I have a DD so I probably don’t get it, but it seems like a club can only get so big and Arlington is pretty darn big already.

It's not knocking everyone down if FVU is self imploding and ARL if BSC/SYC dont give MLSNXT h#ll about giving them option and girls go GA bits just subtraction and addition at this point.

is this related to Arl applying for MLS Next/GA?...they will only take it though if they get HG I think. It does seem like they are purposely letting the girls side slide a bit. As it relates to youth soccer though there are simply way more boys playing then girls so it is what it is

If they are a good enough club to make a huge issue for GA, then ECNL wouldn't even wait to approve. they would just take them so they can then mess with GA ... again...troll post. ecnl is not waiting to decide if they want a club that would hurt GA if it left GA.

This time next year will be interesting if application gets approved


This is reversed. The application that is in is going to boost GA. Girls parents of this club are going to be mad but the boys will be happy. They will learn most of them will not be considered for VDA amd make the of new league.


Everyone knows this is about Arlington. To say the girls parents are going to be mad is the understatement of the century.
