Mom with baby (ahead of me) in the grocery store line who feels it is more important to show her baby every item in the cart before it is placed on the belt.
This is called education. You should be proud that this MOM talks to her child and wants to teach them about the world. If you are that annoyed, go to another line or use self check-out.

Bitter, child-haters. Moms who shouldn't have kids in the first place. So angry![]()
As a woman who had kids late in game, I totally relate to what this poster is saying. It was interesting how many of my college friendships lapsed because once my "friends" started having kids, their worlds became so limited to their children that they couldn't even take interest in what I was doing (international aid work). It was all about them and their families. They couldn't understand why I stopped calling. The ones who did still take an interest in me and what I was doing became that much closer. Now that I've got my own small kids, I'm very conscious of not letting my life be defined by my family status and work hard to maintain perspective, a sense of humor and not being judgmental. Something that many moms on this list should do more of.
Yawn. Sanctimonious moms.
Hey! I bet you're one of my old college "friends"! You haven't changed a bit! Glad to know I didn't miss anything!

I wondered if the poster was actually a parent for most of it.

1) Talk about nothing but their children..and act as if they could care less what is going on in other people's lives.
2) Think that people who do not have kids yet "just don't get it." Not only is this cliched, self absorbed BS...it's very insulting. Trust me Mommy's and daddy's...most people with a brain who dont have kids get that it is really really hard and challening.
3) Alienate their friends and family because they can no longer relate AT ALL to people with no children.
4) Get annoyed when someone who has no kids gives them advice. Again..insulting. To these types of moms I say...NEVER EVER give advice to anyone...ABOUT ANYTHING... unless you have personally experienced the topic at hand. Deal?
Also...maybe try not talking about your kid so much....and you wont get advice you dont want from people who are just trying to be part of the conversation. AND while we are on the subject...be thankful that they haven't told you to change the subject yet.
5) Are so blinded by their perfect angels and perfect parenting skills..they judge everyone else who doesn't do things EXACTLY as they do.
6) Think playgrounds are magical places where kids dont get dirty or hurt. And if another child gets their kid dirty or hurt...it MUST be because of bad parenting.
