Totally agree with this post. This super team would still lose to Hawks and the Crabs. The best way to get a super team is to stack the team with holdbacks which puts all of the black ops kids at a disadvantage. How many holdbacks/reclasses will be new to DCE express this year?

Doesn't matter. DCE and Hawks are still going to send a ton of kids to D1 schools. They don't need NLF.

So it's not about the money. NLF need these teams more than they need NLF?

I think it was around 25k for full membership which gives you a cut of profits at the end of the year. And NLF probably has 3 of the 4 best touch’s done the Summer in terms of competition and recruiting, so not so sure DCE doesn’t need NLF. Hawks has some good years and bad years, so the good teams get invited and the bad teams go do Aloha events.

Again, Hawks send tons of kids to D1 and are not in NLF. If your kid is good he will still get recruited. Lots of other way like Under Armour, Maverick Showtime, prospect days , Naptown, crab feast , First in Class, the new events that Pietramala is running and yes, there will be enough talent at Pinnacle that coaches will show up. The list goes on and on.....

Add in the new Nike event too. But to be fair, not playing the big clubs from the NE isn't the best look. Prospect/Showcase style events are one thing; but consistently playing the best teams on the summer circuit does count for something.

Nope. Won’t ever have to move to MadLax. But let’s all admire DCE26 parent here...has the coach for the next 3 years locked up with no possible chance of anything changing and recruiting coordinator already set for that Summer before Junior year. He or she will even drive to Baltimore to make it right for the little guy...such commitment.

Guess he knows before the rest of us that his/her kid will be worthy of getting recruited?? Must be a special talent to know this in 7th grade. Heck, I’m hopeful my kid still likes the sport in 10th grade. Has to be a first time parent...Bless you...
