Oh come on. They aren't simulating sex or grabbing their crotches and breasts. Big big difference. Nice try though.

Compare that to this

and this

No if you think kids should not see women wearing skimpy clothes and dancing they are the same.

Except of course the cheerleaders are white.

^^^oh please. Move the frame 1/1000th of a second forward or backward on the cheerleaders and you’ll find a crotch shot or a weird face. Don’t be so obtuse. You probably pride yourself on your education.

You know Karen is standing in line with her kids to get pictures.

I fail to see how it empowers women to watch such a show that tells women all we have to offer is skimpy clothing and acting sexy. At age 50 no less! Of course, all men must want to sleep with a woman for her to be worth anything. Give it a rest JLo. If she had talent, there’d be no need for gyrations thongs. She looks a fool.
And then trotting the daughter out, demurely dressed? Nice. Guess the daughter has nothing to offer either since she’s not dressed in a bikini on stage. Oh, there’s always next year to show some skin, kid! Mixed messages that we should appreciate her for singing and her mom for...her body? Her inappropriate outfits? Her trying to be like a 22 year old? No one cares anymore. It’s just a flashy performance with no real singing talent to back it up.
This is the exact opposite of empowering. It’s disgusting really.

We live in an era of iPhones where it takes 5 seconds to find raunchy stuff to look at.

Yet these geezers are mad about a show that would’ve been “outrageous” back in 1989.

It goes to show how out of touch society is.

Sorry, but good parenting involves shielding your kids from this crap for as long as possible. Kids are very impressionable at young ages. My 12 year old just got her phone a few months ago. She doesn't have access to youtube, safari, or any social media apps. The media is very controlled. When I am ready for her to be exposed to more, I will. That superbowl show took us totally off guard. Not what I was hoping for her to be watching at such a young and innocent age.

Yes, there are 12 year olds who are already on social media and doing all sorts of crap. I don't care. My kid is still a kid. And the NFL failed us with this show.

You are the one failing her.

She watches her friends phones, btw. You have not shielded her. You’ve just taught her to Do it behind your back.

And this is exactly why we have such bad parenting today. If you really think the only way to parent is to just say "oh well, they are going to go ahead and do it anyway. I might as well let them," you are beyond foolish. Of course kids are going to get into things behind our backs but you still set the bar high. You have standards for them. You don't give them a free pass to just do whatever they want.

No. You make rules and realize they will be broken and deal with it. If you believe her 12 year old has never looked at YouTube with a friend you are delusional.

Oh please...of course she looks at YouTube. I let her under supervision. She is free to watch it on our family room TV. But you know what she watches? Minecraft videos, animal shows, Star Wars, and Marvel. She has never worn a stitch of makeup. This is what I mean by keeping them young. She is a happy kid and I want to keep it that way as long as possible.

She’ll be a drunk and pregnant by the time she’s 17. You’re not letting your teen be a teen.

But keep living in your la-la land. You’ll be in for a shock when little Susie comes home sneaking up boys and booze in the garage at 2 am.

You’re causing your kid to act out in the future, ya know.

Why are you so obsessed with how I am raising my daughter? You seem extremely angry. Why? Did your daughter get pregnant as a teen?

Because ...you are the one who literally brought it up...

Do you have short term memory?

Nope...she goes to a school where no phones are allowed (private). She doesn't have time to hang out with friends because she is always either playing a sport, practicing, playing piano, or one of the many other activities we keep her busy with. That's how you shield kids today.

My kids school didn’t allow phones either, yet kids had them all the time. Okay .. keep your head in Thea and.

Well your kid's school doesn't know how to monitor kids. I guarantee you, there is not one phone in her tiny parochial school. Not one.

You are completely wrong. Parents send them and they pull them out the minute school is out, in carpool, on the weekends.

Keep fooling yourself .. your self righteousness will eventually blow up in your face. Enjoy the white party.

LOL..we don't do the white party.

Kids have to drop their phones at the reception if they want to have them at school. If they are caught with a phone at school, there are significant repercussions. Nobody risks it and nobody bothers to bring their phone to school. It's pretty awesome and one of the reasons we love the school vs. the huge middle school with all sorts of drama. Like I said...we plan to keep her young as long as possible.

Then a pole to her is just a prop not something strippers use.
