Who believes this......
"When my staff showed me the photo in question yesterday, I was seeing it for the first time. I did not purchase the EVMS yearbook and I was unaware of what was on my page"
I do.
Can we STFU about this now and let it go?
LOL
Afraid not.
I also believe Northam. I had no idea there was even a yearbook for my college and I never even heard of a yearbook for graduate school. The whole thing is more than a bit weird.
I could believe that. I didn't know med schools had yearbooks. I'll have to ask my sister if her med school does and if she's ever seen it.

For a city to be soooo demographically different than its neighbors...well...it doesn’t reflect well on the people who live there.

He was a grown man when he was in the photo/chose to include it be on his yearbook page. This was 35 years ago. People change A LOT in 35 years. There is no reason to think that he is the same man now as he was then.
I agree, people can change. I hope and pray that in his heart that he has changed. But I don't believe someone who made racist choices in his adult past can lead effectively in Virginia.
How has he changed? What has he done to activley try to dismantle racism?

He is disgusting and should resign immediately.
Oh hon. Bless your heart.
Republicans have been holding onto this for some time. They went nuts over his support of abortion at 40 weeks and decided it was his time to go.
They are sitting back with their popcorn watching dems cannibalize themselves.

He is not the same man as 35 years ago, but there was no self reflection and no admitting that it was WRONG. Black Virginians handed him his victory. We can and do better now and we should.

He’s caught. Now he’s racist and a terrible liar. He doesn’t have a remorseful or truthful bone in his body.
Sure. He was so privileged and wealthy that he went to a tiny, obscure medical school near his hometown that no one ever heard of prior to yesterday.
Because Harvard just wasn't exclusive enough for him.![]()
People go to state schools for many reasons. If you really want to go there, that medical school had a low percent of black students in the 80's, so it is still a relic of privilege.
Yeah. They go to state schools precisely because they don't have privilege. That's why.
He went to this medical school because he couldn’t get in anywhere else
