We are all waiting for the letter. But something interesting happened this week. My child (in Grade 4) told me that the teacher wished and said "congrats, you are going to XYZ school (Level IV center) for the next school year". We are happy but not 100% sure until we see the physical letter. Does the class teacher have insights into the AAP activities ? Have any of your children brought home such info in the past and did it match the letter ? Thoughts ?
Thanks

My thoughts are this teacher was inappropriate. How silly this mad dash for AAP has become!

I agree. Since when would a teacher "congratulate" a student for going to the center or even getting into AAP at all?

Someone is pulling someone's leg: the poster, the teacher or the kid, if you ask me! Funny )

The schools do have the results, so it's possible that the teacher knows.

not trying to be mean but I wouldn't really trust what elem school say. For one thing, the teacher would only know if you had accepted to move to the new school, which I am guessing you haven't. Or she wouldn't know! Your kid is probably sensing your angst and responding this way!

GL regardless,

Good for u and ur kid. Why don't you ask the class teacher? Meet in person though. They may not want to put it in writing.

Keep us posted. GL!
