I’m curious who was affected (I was not). Any sense on which positions?

Here's the list:

https://www.whitehouse.gov/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/2026SchedulePolicyCareer.eo_.APPENDIX.pdf

So what and where the heck are these positions?:

Positions of “Senior Advisor for Strategic Communications” under
position description number 0468X00;

Positions of “Supervisory Management and Program Analyst” under
position description number 0699X00;

Positions of “Attorney Advisor” under position description
numbers 0243X00 and 0436X00;

For the same reason the H Street Giant prohibits unaccompanied minors from entering after 6 PM.

Go have fun at Navy Yard.

Have they? For a while now, there have been national guard at the entrance/exit between the lower level of the station and the metro, but I haven’t seen them stopping people from entering. And there still seem to be plenty of kids in the station who would be stopped under such a policy.

It has been this way all school year, I leave a 4 and they are always there. They don’t want the kids to hang out in the area between McDonald’s and Raising Canes.

I have noticed this more recently. I am still always shocked when I turn the corner towards the Mcdonalds and there are 5 national guards just standing there.

and here i thought they were there to prevent the chicken nugget wars between mcds and canes.

Honestly- I have had the same thought!!!

Most didn’t. Look at the ratios in exams. I think those are less than 3:1.
And yes, the MEs should go.

Ours is done and was pretty modest. However, we did a massive reorg in Trump 1 so that is probably why. We also confirmed to the OPM supervisor ratio for the most part.

We hire SK-11 law clerks in CF. They are temporary positions that convert upon being admitted or in some cases fired if they dont get admitted. Ours are 11-14 ladder positions and they do the same work as everyone else, obviously requiring significant oversight and training. I think we are (or were) the only division that hires straight out of law school.

Probably just doing extremely basic research. Perhaps this is the way the SEC wants to make itself “younger.” The problem is that the people who are necessary to train these junior lawyers are either gone, or are about to leave. Or just quite quit altogether, evidenced by the lack of any visible rulemaking done by TM. I also think this is by design: the dismantling of the SEC - replace experience with inexperience.
