The impact to NVA from this is likely ZERO.

That being said - if the PE influence on youth athletics truly comes to fruition and they are in at ground floor with access to significant capital then this could turn into something 3-5 years down the road.

What would the capital do? Allow them to buy players because that’s what they need. Talent.

Attract new top flight coaches/trainers.
Invest in facilities (new turf).
Increase college recruiting staff (or just overall staffing).

Plenty of things a club can do more of to make it more attractive with access to $$

Good luck with that. It sounds really easy.

Top flight trainers and college recruiting staff. Awesome!

There is no business case for serious PE money going into a soccer club. If there was ROI there it would have been done long ago with much better options than RBFC/LoudounEastEast.

There were two shootings at Hutchison, one last year and one this year.

Yep, that's the team that left GFR - a dad of one of the players coaches it and he is one of the guys financially backing RBFC

Another 1am childish response. Shouldn’t your Mommy put you to bed by then little one. Need to hide your phone at night from you to save you from yourself.

But this is even a more childish response. If you are having to revert to mommy claims, it reveals a lot about your emotional/petty/vindictive position. For the sake of the new club and all the families that may be trusting you with their children, and as someone exploring the club, I hope you aren't one of the club leaders or those directly supporting the leadership. Not a good look.

Who knows, maybe if they have enough money they have enough runway that they can do something with it (although ML is not really PE, he’s just some guy who had lucky timing on a couple real estate deals and thinks it means he’s a genius—look up Dunning-Kruger effect—but there’s other real PE money in GF if they have that backing).

But there are a few hints so far that suggest otherwise:

—ML’s disastrous tenure running GFR during his failed putsch, a real clown show.

—the poor & premature roll out of R(b)FC, with no substantive info on anything relevant (coaches, fields, leagues), just mockably trite sloganeering (and a pretty slo-mo river shot).

—the launch of R(b)FC USL-Y and then pull down of the same with no explanation.

—the desperate, ethically dubious, and failed effort to pressure whole teams to switch clubs for the spring like some timeshare sales pitch.

But maybe…. We’ll see. I don’t think anyone’s afraid of anything yet. Just having fun mocking what’s happened so far (look up schadenfreude). Theres plenty of people cheering for a faceplant after what he did last year.
