We need a credible citation for your statement that his friends say he was a political. You’ve made this claim before and have not given any evidence.
And you should give a credible citation that he isn't. Or that there is proof that he is a "leftist."

It's also hard to watch people idolize a man who said a lot of offensive and hateful things about others. He didn't deserve to be killed, but that guy was not a good person.

Kimmel "spread a hurtful lie?" FFS, Rush Limbaugh made spreading hurtful lies his entire career for decades and was never kicked off the airwaves for it, instead he paved the way for tons of others spreading hurtful lies, like Michael Savage, Glenn Beck, Alex Jones, Mark Levin and others. So why all the sudden does Kimmel get targeted? By this logic most of the right wing guys on talk radio need to go.

It wasn’t a lie - the MAGA crowd had been trying desperately to make people believe that the murderer was part of some leftist group starting when Kirk’s body was still warm. That was their number one priority.
Also, this should go without saying but comedians are allowed to make political speeches just like they are allowed to tell jokes in America.
