It was recorded 50 years ago and has been remastered. It’s not something they just recorded. They are not currently on good terms with each other.

I’m not seeing a lot of disappointing fans. She hasn’t lost followers and she continues to get a lot of positive attention when she announces things like an engagement or new album. The critics are the same people who are gonna hate her no matter what. If she spoke out, they’d criticize her for that too.

I think a little celebrity political activism goes a long way. I like it when celebrities help spread the word and obviously donate. But does anyone really want Taylor Swift constantly opining on abortion rights? No none of us want that. You’re just looking for ways to criticize her. She donates a crap ton of her earnings to communities and she does speak up at times. The more she speaks, the more diluted her message would be. It was really big news when she came out and endorsed Harris. If she was constantly talking about women’s rights, it would just get lost in the sauce.

Also, there’s a lot of complaining that people who aren’t into her feel like she is forced onto them. Do we really want more Taylor in our lives? I mean, I love her… But I like that she’s been laying low in the last few years other than touring.
