Many contractors are MAGA - even our solar installers were. Most of our plumbers/ electricians/ handymen are. I can only hope they are revising their opinions now. Given the polarized media news sources and tidal waves of right wing misinformation, I actually doubt it.
Those MAGA contractors are citizens and don't want cheap imported labor undercutting their prices. The legal immigrants don't like the illegal immigrants.
MAGA contractors, landscape company owners, and restaurant owners absolutely thrive on undocumented Latin American labor. They hire them by the truck load.
