Have you seen their schedule?
Yes, I have I posted it so everyone else could see it as well. It is not just the losses but how badly they are losing these games. It appears like they aren't even close to being competitive just look at the GD. GC - 24-6 -18 GD, SJCP IAAM B 12-11 -1 GD, PVI 13-5 -8 GD, SR 22-3 -19 GD, Visi 19-4 -15 GD, Potomac 17-7 -10 GD. THey have been outscored 107-36. Over those 6 games the average loss of almost 18-6.
It is actually crazy - how does a school let their boys' program be #1 and their girls program trail so far behind?
They have a boys coach coaching girls. Kids also are not staying after 8th grade. I know 1 2027 transferred out and is now at GC even though her brother is on the boys team at Bullis still.
Wow. GC coach is pretty lame, so that’s saying a lot.
The 27 in question moved on their own. She went from Bullis to public school then to GC. The GC coach didn't recruit her
Want to talk about nightmare parents. Poor kids...
Classy.....
How about a family made a decision that had nothing to do with you - I feel bad for your kids
Or did it? Maybe this transfer took a spot from someone who had been there all year working hard throughout fall ball and winter ball and all of the weight room workouts and conditioning...
Thought I’d post this recent comment from a boys lax thread discussion about transfers. It’s the sad truth for many kids:
“Teams and schools and coaches (and other parents and alumni boosters) have been taking advantage of athletes forever. Saw it firsthand as a player and now as a parent. Kids promised the moon and pressured to stay in situations that aren’t in their short or long term best interests and then once no longer useful tossed aside. Anyone who has played high level or even mid level sports has anecdotes about teammates who were exploited and then chucked aside and absent a strong advocate or safety net ended up in a bad way.”

Sounds like someone has an axe to grind.
Unless you have had the conversations and had a child being recruited there you’re clueless don’t let them fool you gc moves $ around to pull players in
There is ZERO money being given out at GC for girls lax. Boys Basketball and football and Girls basketball yes. Other sports no, and especially for girls sports. The current AD shortchanges girls sports at every opportunity

Just like the 28s are doing this year.
No when it happens during the school year it is considered a transfer there are rules that govern this and call it as such.
Correct. And this transfer was from public to WCAC, not within the WCAC so therefore the intra-conference rules do not apply. But you already know that since you know there are rules that govern this. You’re just being a troll and trying to stir the pot.
