Unlike the actual concert, theaters will just keep releasing dates until demand wanes. There is not risk of losing out here.

An email from Taylor Nation went out first thing in the morning yesterday too. I jumped on it.

Yep! But point is no paid advertisements. Bonkers.

Bonkers? She has worked hard to cultivate the free advertising of her insta loving swifties. It is advertising genius. Pretend to have “secrets” and hide them in Easter eggs and all the little girls will pass on the secrets. Oldest girl manipulation in history.

You seem to think bonkers is a negative. Quite the opposite. Of course she’s a marketing genius. That’s why it’s bonkers that movies like Barbie had insane advertising budget and she had none. That’s bonkers if you think about it.

Well, that seems to be the only thought allowed- Genius!

I am a teensy bit annoyed at Taylor Nation for announcing ON the sale day. Swifties like to plan ahead and strategize! This was a scramble. Even 24 hours notice would have been nice.

But ofc we got tix! Not the time we wanted, but we did get opening day. It will be a blast.

Just to share, I saw more showings were added today for the 13th (prob other dates too). So if you missed out yesterday you may want to look again.

The producers of 2 movies have moved their premiere dates since Taylor announced her movie yesterday morning.

Bonkers!

A day after the news that AMC Theatres will release the Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour concert film in the chain’s theaters Oct. 13, Bleecker Street announced Friday that What Happens Later, which Ryan directs and also stars in opposite David Duchovny, will vacate that weekend and instead open three weeks later on Nov. 3. This follows Universal announcing Thursday that horror sequel The Exorcist: Believer, also previously slated to open Oct. 13, will move up a week to similarly avoid the new competition.

Yes. And looked sold out in all the AMCs near me for opening weekend! Got tickets for DD and her friends a week after it opens.

PP here. After other PP said Cinemark I looked closer at the website for the one near me - there’s a link at the top of the page to get advance tickets.
