They beat Robinson 10-7 so they are in the mix.
Battlefield is a decent team with a great goalie. When their goalie is hot, he can significantly change the outcome of the game. Battlefield lacks skill on defense but has a good lefty attackman.

Not sure what your point is. They are ranked #5 for a reason. They have one top-5 win (and also beat Woodson 13-0, Westfield 8-2, Freedom twice, Patriot) and are the fifth best team. They will probably make the State finals and will probably lose to the Region C/D winner as stated above.

Don't usually keep doing them once Regionals start and too many teams have been eliminated, but probably would go with this.
1. Madison
2. Yorktown
3. Robinson
4. Lake Braddock
5. Battlefield
6. Freedom
7. McLean
8. Langley
9. Oakton
10. Patriot
Been a five team race most of the season, and still looks that way. Freedom played Battlefield close last game and has an outside chance of topping them in the State semis but Battlefield probably wins again and makes the finals. Cosby and Kellam have no shot. Madison/LB and Robinson/Yorktown should both be dogfights. I think Madison and Yorktown both come out on top in close games but really anything could happen. Region C/D side winner should beat Battlefield.

Robo and Yorktown already played and it was a one goal game. Expect another close one. Both teams experienced and well coached.

Truthfully, I believe Yorktown will come out and smack Robinson in their mouth. Robinson held a tight 11-10 game with a team that Yorktown killed during preseason. Could be a tight game but Yorktown definitely pulls away with the win when it’s needed especially with key player #1 back
