Please explain the difference to me, I am not so smart.
If you say, use force to get rid of these miscreants that are sitting in their trucks, how is that ok, but rolling tanks over people in China is not ok?

You are despicable, there is no comparison.

I was there. The government mandates on vaccine and masks in the “free world” are getting more and more like how the communism.

No there's no comparison, fool.

There are a few of us defending him. The cyclist did not have the right of way. He deserved it for being an ass

OK. So the people blocking the road deserve it too.

Let them truckers roll.

The trucker was the bigger ass. And he deservedly got fired. Good luck getting a new job driving trucks when you've got intentionally running into pedestrians on your record.

I'm not clear whether these truckers have or have not refused the vaccine. I know the Canada Trucker's association opposes the blocka

I also read that for the US, they have no concerns about the southern border, as Mexican truckers have an even higher rate of vaccination.

I found out last night my son, who is vaccinated and boosted by choice (and has avoided bars and restaurants since March 2020) disagrees with mandated vaccination.

Sounds like it was an awkward conversation between you and your son.

You can't have a thoughtful and calm discussion with your son about politics when you have different views?

Just because a conversation is awkward, that does not mean it can't be calm and thoughtful. It's actually more likely to be calm and thoughtful. Hence, the awkwardness. YMMV.

Yes, you are right. You are not that smart.

The trucks are blocking a major transit route for starters. Next, they have the right to protest in many other ways. The Chinese were doing something that would not be a problem here. They do not have the freedom to do lots of things. We do. Many of the Chinese were jailed and never heard from again. That's not the same as our government clearing out a roadway and sending people home. Not even close.

^ Lots of people have masks for when they go in and out of buildings. You don't need them outdoors. The danger is indoors. But you knew that, right?
