Pelosi deftly maneuvered around her and all her obstinacy and got THIRTEEN Republicans to vote for the Infrastructure and Jobs Act. No other Speaker of the House could get that done. Her position is secure and everyone knows it.

But Jayapal? She's going to be ousted as head of the CPC.

Supposedly, Jayapal has expressed an interest in the Speaker's position if Nancy retires or doesn't run for Speaker (or, more likely, minority leader come 2022).
