What argument are you even making crazy lady? Just that the 27s and 28s, actual living breathing teenage girls, are terrible lacrosse players? Or that the club sucks and the players should have instead chosen some make believe alternative? Try to act sober this time.
Lol, no. I have maintained for years that capital is lazy, incompetent, and behind the times with the HS only model. And for years I had to hear the incessant yapping of annoying capital parents about how their kid’s team was going to be amazing, that capital was amazing, and that capital will get their kid into any school bc every coach in the world loves capital. Since there are good players in DC and zero legit competition, capital did really well when the given year had talent and 100% of the local kids stayed home. But as we can see now, I was correct. Capital isn’t magic, they just get lucky whenever their is a good class and kids/families don’t make the right decision to tryout elsewhere.
Regarding whether kids should have chosen an alternative, yes, they certainly should have done so. Each year you are seeing kids leave for better run programs like heros and m&d, the few uber talented 28s and 29s should have gone elsewhere too. They definitely had options, but the cap blue myth persists.
Anonymous wrote:Not a Capital parent but am genuinely curious what drives people to crap all over the ‘28 team? I can only imagine it is other ‘28 parents from different teams but what is driving your need to be so nasty?

Lol, you cap blue losers are so easy to trigger. The 27s and 28s simply aren’t as good, so not as “lucky” for cap blue. The 29s will be slightly better because it is a better class in the DC area (and overall), but again, won’t be in the top brackets and the cap blue myth takes another hit.
Your campaign to keep M&D DC 2029 together failed spectacularly, and your unpersuasive and off-putting comments on the 2029 forum probably contributed to the failure. You lost, and you can stop now.
Lol, I couldn’t care less about m&d dc. And if anyone based a club decision on a msg board of mainly clueless and bored moms, they would be more pathetic than words could describe. I am just here to bust the chops of the delusional cap blue lovers, who act like it is some magical program who can place kids wherever they want to go. The fact is that there are amazing players in the DC area, but some years are better than others. In years past when the talent was here and cap blue was the only game in town, the teams were amazing. Those kids rightfully got recruited to great schools, but cap blue had very little to do with that, that was mostly the hard work of the player and family. Now that the 2027 and 2028s are in the mix, you can see what happens when the program isn’t blessed (“lucky”) with an abundance of talent. M&D DC isn’t a strong enough competitor to fully break the cap blue spell, but with each passing year of 2nd and 3rd bracket play, the talent will decide to look elsewhere.
Best of luck to you. This was the year and you crashed and burned.
Nah, it is going to take a few more years of failing to make top 15 and be in top brackets. The cap blue myth really has a hold on DC, but after the 2029s are just meh, it will cause more parents to look elsewhere when that was never a consideration in previous years.
Lol BLC 2030s are #10 and 2031s are #16. Great Cap pipeline. Try harder.
The 2030 class is doo doo, there are only like 6-7 decent teams. BLC 2030s were 13-18 last year, gross.
Except they’re #10 now

They do not need to prove themselves— they have the committed list to shut you up anytime you start spewing fake news about the club/players success. They have YEARS of success as do Skywalkers, Hero, and M&D. All amazing clubs with incredible recruiting success. They all can co-exist and do well in recruiting together for our region. Many players and families know each other and cheer for each other!Anonymous wrote:Ugh the lists are back. Capital acolytes are always working over time to prove themselves.
