No disagreement that it's been randos who have been celebrating, but it's still not an irrational reaction to someone who rouses so much sentiment against you. Disrespectful, yes, but not irrational. (but doesn't respect have to be earned, anyway?) And if MAGAs were honest with themselves, they'd admit that. But why don't we look at how Kirk reacted to the deaths of his political nemesises before we make a fair judgement?

Jeff, with all due respect, I am not sure the Governor understands the difference between "leftist ideology" and the likes of Fuentes and Loomer. There are mainstream republicans, like a PP in this thread, who just assumes anyone who is gay or trans are also lefties. And that simply isn't the case. It will really take a search through his internet consumption and posting history to really get at the root of who he is and what made him tick. And frankly, i don't trust anything coming out of the FBI right now.
I would add that the governor is still probably misinterpreting the scrawlings on the bullets. He is interpreting the fascist thing literally instead of accepting these are gamer memes that may truly point to this guy having completely non-political motivations.
The governor seems like an older conservative who is at least 3 decades out of touch with current memes and themes and basically just concludes "well since it's not anything I recognize it must be leftist." It's not a valid conclusion to just leap to "it's not my ideology therefore it must be leftist." I'm seeing a lot of this going on, particularly from older and more rural people who are politically naive.

Because from Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, who both received ridiculous abuse from Kirk, on down to mayors and governors, they all express their condolences and calls for unity because they have more class than most of the republicans (Thom Tillis and a few others excluded)

I have no clue the truth anymore but also saw something about there being a subset of Groypers who convince men to feminize themselves because they hate women so much and this is a way around dating women. So I’m not entirely sure the roommate is actually trans.
Ultimately it doesn’t really matter though what his ideology is nor his roommate’s gender. The bottom line is no one wants to claim this guy. He’s just another miserable angry male with easy access to guns.
Even if he was somehow liberal, the Democratic Party as a whole is no more responsible for this than the MAGA who broke into the Pelosis’ home. The difference is we didn’t dox and insist on the firings of people who mocked Paul Pelosi, nor did we threaten retribution.

And the leadership of the Democrats are not celebrating and have been reasonable and measured in their responses. The GOP -not so much calling for retribution, beat downs, and violence against this nebulous left.
Specify what exactly about "the left ideology" should be to blame? Again, if you are talking about liberals and Democrats, there is nothing in the mainstream ideology that promotes killing. This party tries to implement gun control and promote policies for social justice.

The inscriptions are probably meant ironically or to be misleading. The one used to kill Kirk was about noticing a bulge and another about being gay. Both wool theoretically apply to Robinson. I don't think we can divine anything from the inscriptions at this point.
