The 27s and 28s simply aren’t as good, so not as “lucky” for cap blue. The 29s will be slightly better because it is a better class in the DC area (and overall), but again, won’t be in the top brackets and the cap blue myth takes another hit.
Your campaign to keep M&D DC 2029 together failed spectacularly, and your unpersuasive and off-putting comments on the 2029 forum probably contributed to the failure. You lost, and you can stop now.
Lol, I couldn’t care less about m&d dc. And if anyone based a club decision on a msg board of mainly clueless and bored moms, they would be more pathetic than words could describe. I am just here to bust the chops of the delusional cap blue lovers, who act like it is some magical program who can place kids wherever they want to go. The fact is that there are amazing players in the DC area, but some years are better than others. In years past when the talent was here and cap blue was the only game in town, the teams were amazing. Those kids rightfully got recruited to great schools, but cap blue had very little to do with that, that was mostly the hard work of the player and family. Now that the 2027 and 2028s are in the mix, you can see what happens when the program isn’t blessed (“lucky”) with an abundance of talent. M&D DC isn’t a strong enough competitor to fully break the cap blue spell, but with each passing year of 2nd and 3rd bracket play, the talent will decide to look elsewhere.

Most of those girls have played lax since age 7/8 years old and have worked their asses off on the field and in the classroom. The same can be said of the 24, 23, 22 classes that did just as well. So stop with the “lucky” comments. No one is getting lucky with lax. These kids work & train hard. You clearly do not know these players and have no clue about the recruiting process. The 2027/2028 players at all the area clubs will do just as well. We should all want that for theseAnonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:It warms my heart seeing cap blue parents realize that they were lied to and they know they should have moved to a MD team. The 25 and 26 teams just got lucky, the 28 trajectory is the reality now. 29s will be slightly more successful, but cracking top 15 will be hard.
If they are so bad, what MD team would take them? Not sure I follow your logic.
players as it helps all the players and clubs when they all do well!

you know that answer.
Actually I don’t. Was just curious about roster.
I am a Capital parent and I do not understand the aversion to having a good website or team IWLCA profile. Do all the other top teams have these?

Sorry, I meant the good ones
If they are good, then they have nothing to worry about. I'm not understanding the logic either.
