Wow. Seriously. Gaetz will be in for life.

Greenberg was a one man walking crime machine as soon as he got elected. I mean, he spent taxpayer money on tons of equipment to mine crypto then was using the county office building to do it and SET IT ON FIRE. I think Gaetz’s rumored crimes are terrible but they don’t compare to everything this guy was doing (and btw the Florida AG was totally ignoring.)

This doesn’t speak well of Greenberg!s buddy DeSantis.

But they only let people be informants if the criminals they are reporting on have done bigger things. So, I don't know, Gaetz may be in serious trouble?

I think Greenberg had sh|t on a lot more people than just Gaetz. The prosecutions of the people who were hiring the ghost candidates who were diluting the Democratic vote in downballot races in Florida came out of his cooperation, too. And possibly stuff we don’t know about yet.

If they’ve sentenced Greenburg, they must be about ready to move on to the next group, correct?

I assume you mean locked up? This isnt the first crime for which he has evaded responsibility, but Joel Greenburg didn’t cooperate for nearly two years for nothing. I agree with the twitterers above; the “leak” about Matty not being prosecuted isn’t a Justice Department leak. It’s a hopeful gambit from Gaetz’s side.

Gaetz is hoping his bffs are so untrustworthy and have lied so many times that no jury could possibly believe them.

I think the sort said “career prosecutor.” By that measure the source could be Rudy. There was some easily sourced evidence at the beginning with Gaetz’s minor Venmo charges. I doubt prosecutors have strung Greenberg’s sentencing along for nothing. Of course DOJ can’t comment.

DP. The story said career prosecutors were not recommending charges, but did not say the prosecutors were the source.

The right wing just can’t quit whataboutting about Hillary. They forget that Comey, the idiot, leaked on Hillary’s investigation but failed to do the same about Donald. They’re obsessed with leaking as a diversion but the never want to find out who the leaker actually is because it’s always them.
