They think that police departments need to stop protecting these cops and police unions need to stop defending them.

During the press conference yesterday, the prosecutor made the statement that there is evidence that the actions by the police may not have been criminal. I have no idea what he meant and no idea what evidence he is speaking of, but they were very firm in that they don't want this situation to end with a rushed arrest and prosecution.

I'm not threatening you. I have no idea who you are. I was demonstrating how ridiculous your logic is. If someone sits with their knee on someone's neck for 10 minutes, that person will likely suffocate. It's common sense.

There’s another thread that now says the killer and the victim worked together for 17 years. This is going to turn out to be totally different than what people originally thought. Pre-meditated murder with an accident as there cover story... that’s why they didn’t even try to hide what they were doing.

When will people wake up and stop rioting and looting and taking the focus away from what should be the focus - the death of George Floyd by a murderer cop.
George Floyd's death is horrific and when pretty much everyone with a conscience was waiting for the cops to be charged with murder, we have some rioters (who are thugs, not because of the color of their skin) who have turned the focus away from the main issue. The ones who are looting don't care about George Floyd's death. Do you need led tv's to mourn his death?
There were many protesting black and white people (not rioting or looting). The community should take a cue from them and follow Dr.MLK's ways and get the change that is needed.
I really hope George Floyd gets justice.
That is not the focus, George Floyd's death is a result of hundreds of years of white people enslaving, maiming, raping, and murdering black people in support of a racist system. The scary part is that most of them aren't aware they are doing it.

I just watched part of the video, couldn't watch the entire thing because it was so horrifying, but I kept the audio on. Something I can't understand is why did the cops keep telling him to get into the van? Obviously he couldn't being on the ground with a knee in his neck. Why were they even saying that? Does anyone have any explanation for that part?
