I'm not sure they aren't #1. I actually think they are, but I'm giving the benefit of the doubt to Arlington and to Loudoun to see how they match up with clubs and teams I know. I have no doubt they are stronger than McLean.
To be fair, shouldn't FCV 07 at least start making it to the finals games in recent tournaments they played in before you start calling them #1? Let's keep it real.
The bulk of the FCV 07 DA team will likely come from Loudoun. They should probably reach out to the 07s that are currently playing for Spirit and Arlington but I doubt they will move.

I asked about that and it seems there may be some proprietary issue involved with posting youtube videos, so it may violate some copyrights.
Sounds weird I know, but this forum has censored material before. Sorry friend.
Teams subscribe to a video hosting service where game films are uploaded to. This is not censorship, this is how it is done. The video hosting services also offer crude editing tools to create highlight videos. In order to download the video the hosting service charges a fee for the film. Sorry, but I doubt most people are interested in purchasing the video to post it on YouTube just for you.
The game schedules are online, I suggest you go and watch some games in person if you are that interested. Beyond that, you’re not entitled to any game film.
That’s fair. We are busy on the weekends with games and activities too. We are deciding between ECNL and DA teams for next year. We are just trying to learn more about the clubs and quality and style of play. It looks like Spirit posted some videos last year versus FCV so just hoping for the same. I definitely do not expect any freebies.
No offense but hard to trust what people say on this anonymous board so would rather see myself.
So you have a 2007 . . .
There are two clubs with talent as everyone on the board says: formeost Loudon, and a close 2nd Mclean. Watch what those players do ... . Period.
The rest of the ccl group has 1-2 max worth a look. If those two clubs players defect out of ECNL to GDA - then game on for USsoccer!
I think in fairness, for now, we should include FCV. They have both a track record and wins in every age group. Maybe that changes soon, as some have suggested. Maybe it doesn't. However, for now, it clearly hasn't.
I have no dog in the 2007 race. Since McLean's Pre-ECNL lost 3-0 to FCV's 07s, I think that's true. Not sure if Loudoun has as of yet matched up against either McLean or FCV.
