At the time of the June 2016 meeting, they apparently already had the DNC emails and had no problems getting them in the public domain over the summer thanks to the dutiful mainstream media that will report on just about any leak.
The meeting with the Russian lawyer seems more likely designed to cultivate a relationship with the Trump family but it did not work. Jared apparently walked out of the meeting after 5-10 minutes. And Donny Trump did not follow up on the alleged evidence adverse to Hillary or her campaign. Where's the scandal?
The scandal is that Donny Jr. accepted a meeting with a foreign representative who he admits promised him dirt on his father's opponent and that's exactly why he met with her. That's against the law. Just that he accepted and met with this person.
And the other scandal is people like you, purported "Americans" (MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN) who have no problem with this behavior. You have become what you say you hate. Swamp thing.
Name the maw or regulation broken please. I want the specifics.
More to the post by, no "dirt" was exchanged.
Again, if you get caught soliciting a prostitute, it doesn't matter if you actually get your willy wet.
False equivalence. Soliciting sex is a crime, talking to someone from Russia not. Try again
Soliciting a thing of value from a foreign power in violation of federal election law? Ding ding ding.
Name the item of value.

I said it here yesterday.
FEC Commissioner Weintraub is jet-lagged from her foreign paid for trips and was unavailable for response. Just kidding.
That makes you both fools. Jared Kushner failing to disclose this meeting on his SF-86 is a prima facie count of 18 USC 1001. There are many, many other potential charges in play including conspiracy to violate federal election laws. There are too many others to list, although many are listed upthread.

Didn’t this story come to light because Kushner put this meeting on his SF86?
No. It came to light after he scrambled to amend his lying ass SF86 that listed NO FOREIGN CONTACT at all.
You mean he had to amend it yet again. It's what crooks do.
Yes. And of course Kellyanne is out there acting like this is done routinely all the time.
No point in shooting the messenger anymore. Even she's probably tired of lying for a living.
